RAYC Offshore Regatta 12-13 Sep 2026

The Royal Artillery Yacht Club’s annual Offshore Regatta returns to Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, on Saturday 12 September 2026. Open to serving and former members of the Royal Artillery, RAYC members and invited guests, the event offers a great day’s competitive sailing, with crews made up of serving personnel, veterans and civilian sailors. The aim is to develop seamanship, teamwork and friendly competition on the water

The entry fee is £50 per boat, with temporary RAYC membership available for £10 per person if required. Teams are responsible for arranging their own yacht, although the RAYC Committee can assist with charter opportunities where possible. Entries close on Friday 28 August, with racing taking place throughout the day before the prizegiving and regatta dinner at the Royal Solent Yacht Club in the evening.

After racing, competitors, families and supporters are warmly invited to the Regatta Prizegiving and Dinner at the Royal Solent Yacht Club. Prizegiving starts at 6.30pm, followed by a three-course dinner. Dress is smart casual (jacket and tie optional). While attendance is not compulsory, it is strongly encouraged and has always been one of the highlights of the regatta, providing a great opportunity to catch up with friends and celebrate the day’s racing. Dinner tickets are £45 per person and should be booked and paid for in advance when entering the regatta using the link below.
