Army Inshore Sail Training Centre

The Army Inshore Sail Training Centre(South) (AISTC(S)) is managed by the Royal Artillery Yacht Club (RAYC) and is looked after by members of the Royal Artillery who are qualified Royal Yacht Association (RYA) Instructors.
 
Civilian ASA Instructors are also located at the site, providing the full range of sailing discipline expertise in one location.

Watersports

At the Centre, we offer a diverse range of activities including windsurfing, dinghy sailing (from multi-hulls to keelboats), powerboating, and kitesurfing. Our courses are open to all Regular, Reserve, and UOTC officers and soldiers, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the thrill of the water.
 
Additionally, we provide essential training in RYA First Aid and marine VHF radio, along with Stand Up Paddleboarding for those calmer days. With the flexibility to tailor courses to meet individual and unit needs, there’s something for everyone having fun on the waves!
