Congratulations to Amaury Parent and his wife for the loving restoration of Gullmarn, a swedish pilot cutter built in 1907. Gullmarn was once owned by Dick Schofield, a former Admiral and a founding member of the RAYC, who sailed her from Singapore to Port Sudan in 1936, a story that appears in the “First Fifty Years of the RAYC”.
The restoration of Gullmarn has now been completed, and she can now be found sailing in the beautiful waters of Southern Brittany — for more details and photos, please visit Gullmarn’s FaceBook page. |
